There is no single Upcomers app

This trips people up. Upcomers does not ship one download that does everything. You manage the account in the browser dashboard, and you trade through the mobile app of whichever platform your account was issued on.

Trading an evaluation from your phone

It works, and plenty of funded traders manage positions on mobile. Two things to be careful about. First, drawdown is unforgiving of fat fingers, and a mistyped lot size on a small screen breaches an account just as effectively as a bad thesis. Second, check whether your plan counts unrealised losses toward the daily limit before you leave a position open while away from a desk.

A safer mobile setup

• Set your stop when you open the position, not later. Mobile is the worst place to manage an unprotected trade.
• Keep the dashboard bookmarked so you can check remaining drawdown without hunting for it.
• If you run an expert advisor, it executes on the platform, not the phone. Closing the app does not stop it.
